How to Use the Freezer Mates PLUS Medium Deep Container

How to Fill: Fill container no higher than the max fill line, which is marked around the inside rim. This allows space for the food to expand during the freezing process.​ Fully cool freshly cooked food before placing it in the freezer.

How to Close: To close, align the lid with the base. Then, while pressing firmly, slide your thumbs around the rim towards the tab.

How to Remove Food: Take the storage container out of the freezer and let it sit for five minutes. Remove the lid, turn the container upside down, then press the center of the base with both thumbs while twisting. Removing food is that easy!

How to Clean: The container is dishwasher safe. Wash it before first use and after every use. Before dishwasher use, rinse thoroughly with cold water. Place the lid on the top rack and position the base loosely (with no sharp items pushing against it) to prevent damage. While the interior is protected by stain control technology, the exterior is not — so rinse thoroughly before dishwashing to prevent food residue from staining the outside.

Some highly pigmented foods can occasionally get through the stain-resistant barrier or leave their mark on the exterior, which is not protected with the technology. To remove discoloration, create a paste of baking soda and liquid dish soap, and rub it over the stain. Leave it there for 15 minutes. Hand-wash (repeating if necessary), and the stain should be significantly lighter, if not totally gone.

How to Store: The containers aren’t leakproof, so when storing liquids, store them upright until contents are frozen. When not in use, store with the lid off to prevent humidity buildup.
