Top food scientists from the University of Florida and Tupperware have researched the storage of fruits and vegetables extensively to develop a line of intelligent containers.​

FridgeSmart® containers use Tupperware’s ACE™ (Atmosphere Controlled Environment) system: special three-way vent and custom base help regulate the atmosphere inside the container by balancing the flow of oxygen coming in and carbon dioxide going out. ​

Four-piece Starter Set includes two 1¾ qt/1.8 L Small Deep containers, one 1¾ qt/1.8 L Medium container, and one 1-gallon/4.4 L Medium Deep container.

USE AND CARE

Slider has 3 different positions:

• Closed: When the slider tab is aligned with the fully etched circle in the middle of the pictogram, both openings in the seal are closed.​
• Half Open: When the slider tab is aligned with the half circle on the pictogram, the small opening in the seal is open for light venting.​
• Fully Open: When the slider tab is aligned with the hollow, glossy circle on the pictogram, the big opening in the seal is open for full venting.​

TIPS

FridgeSmart® 4-pc Starter Set is modular for efficient stacking in the fridge. Small & Medium Deep containers are the same height. Two Small containers fit across one Medium container. If you add FridgeSmart® ¾-qt/800 mL Small containers (sold separately) to your set, they’re the same height as the Medium container.

Vegetables belonging to same category in terms of venting can be stored together.
