Tupperware® Amazing Series Bread Knife: The new Excellence serration blade pattern will deliver smoother cuts and leave fewer bread crumbs when slicing hard-crust bread. It’s engineered with three steps: narrow serration for extra cutting efficiency, wave blade for smooth cutting, and straight tip to perfectly separate between cuts. An offset handle design protects knuckles from hitting the cutting board while slicing, allowing full use of the blade. Use the Bread Knife to easily slice breads, pastries, cakes, and bread rolls. It’s also very handy to remove pineapple skin or to cut large fruits such as watermelon and cantaloupe.

USE & CARE

• Dishwasher safe (sheath)
• Hand wash (knife)
• Do not cut leather, wood, frozen food, or bones.
• Do not use the knives as a screwdriver, to open bottles, or to pry objects.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Approved for food use

Cleaning

1. After each usage, we strongly recommend that you immediately clean the knives by hand in hot soapy water and dry thoroughly before storing.

2. Cleaning in the dishwasher is NOT recommended because it could damage the knife blade with prolonged high heat and aggressive washing agents that can attack stainless steel.

3. Always dry your knives thoroughly before storing them in sheath or knife block.

4. Possible spots on the blade can be easily cleaned with stainless steel cleaner.

5. Never let the knife come into contact with other metal, ceramic, or glass instruments as this would damage the cutting edge.

6. Sheaths are dishwasher safe, but do not put knives in dishwasher, as detergent chemicals can damage and dull blades.

7. Use knives on plastic or wood cutting boards only; ceramic and glass cutting boards will dull blades.

Storage

1. Attach the sheath to protect the knife blade when storing in a drawer with other utensils.

2. The sheath allows safe handling and transporting of the knife.

3. Remove the sheath when the knife is stored in a knife block or other rack that won’t accommodate the sheath.

4. Do not assemble sheath and knife together when either of them is wet or damp.

TIPS

Sharpen knife with the serrated section of our U-Series Sharpener. Sharpen only “wavy” part of serrated blade; do not use on narrow part or on tip of blade.
